Boom! What a kick batter!

In my opinion there isn't a better kick batter available. Unless I need to get a brighter, more musical sound for jazz and other lighter applications (in which case I use a coated Emperor) then the coated powerstroke 4 gives me everything I need in a kick drum batter head. Low end presence with fast response and plenty of punch. I wouldn't swap it for anything!

Boom! Thats exactly what this head does, really really nice low end. It's a heavy head with a reinforcement ring. It's one of the darkest heads I've played. When I'm looking for a low floor tom I tend to stick a 16" version of this head on it. Great quality.

J'utilise la powerstroke 4 depuis quelque temps sur ma vieille Sonor force3000, j'aime bien cette peau car elle a du grave et de l'attaque, je peux laisser le son complètement ouvert ou mettre un petit chiffon dedans (à la Simon Philipps) ça fonctionne sans problème..De plus dans les magasins du côté de Lyon c'est souvent sur commande!! entièrement satisfait
