I bought this for bass guitar use and was not disappointed.

Very high sensitivity combined with decent xmax and clear open midrange.
Sounds fantastic running fullrange(no lowpass filter) with a tweeter covering 3khz and up.

For PA or hi-fi I would cross between 1-2khz to a good quality 1" compression driver on a constant directivity horn/waveguide. Would make for a great 2-way down to 50hz.

The only thing I'd like to see is a neo motor for weight reduction.

Great 'musical' tonality. Great extended high frequency. I am using these drivers for mid range and they are great. Punchy but smooth. Great to have good mid freq action in a high sensitivity driver with good power handling. Great for stage monitors.
