inexpensive, inconvenient
It serves its purpose for changing e-guitar strings by cutting, unwinding, and winding, but its plastic construction feels inexpensive and lacks convenience.

Something to keep in the gigbag
Keep this little tool in your gigback with a spare set of strings. It's a life saver.

i'ts okay if you don't want to spend too much money
The winder itself is made out of plastic and it's really light. But it does cut wires with ease and does the job right. The little winder thing at the other end is also quite efficient, especially since i never had a winder and always tuned up after restringing manually, this saves a lot of my time from now on. I believe that, if taken care of properly, it can serve you for years to come. Especially since it's made of plastic so you don't wanna pollute the planet even more. Either way, would reccomend

Good to have but on the low quality side
This tool is good to have in the gig bag and does all what you would want when changing strings: take pegs out, cut, wind. The tool feels really cheap though and I doubt it will last very long.
Considering the price it's okay and good to have.

Nice and functional multi-tool
After going through various "multi-tools" that didn't manage to do even a single thing well, this piece of equipment is just perfect. The string cutter does the job effortlessly, and the string winder is very good, too. Everything comes in a nice small package, yet the tool seems sturdy.
The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is the bridge pin puller. Changing a full set of strings, I couldn't manage to pull out even a single pin with this, and ended up using a teaspoon instead. If the pin is already a bit loose and you can fit the "fork" part under it, it works, but with the knob tightly in place, it's a struggle. It might be a question of technique, so I'm not ready to blame the device yet.

Nice for guitar, not so nice for bass
This thing does mostly what they claim it does but with one fatal flaw. It does not grab bass keys properly. I constantly slip when changing strings on my bass. The holes on the short sides should have been a bit wider for that to work properly.
I recommend it for guitar but not for bass.

Solid tool
There are better choices for tools when it comes to wind your strings. But all the other features are very useful, because you will save time and space with all these functions in one tool. The price is also really good! I use it mainly to cut strings and this works very well!

Useful tool
great when you're doing out of town shows and need to change your strings. Sharp cutter, and the winder is ergonomic. Much better winder than the Dunlop winder i have.
