It does what Peavey said it would do. Perfect Duplication of Ltd 400.

I am Kevan Bartholomew and have been the Pedal Steel Guitarist for many Artists and Legends including Don Everley, Wanda Jackson, Frank ifield, and many more. I am still performing and playing sessions. The Session Ltd Pedal Preamp duplicates fully the Peavey Session and Ltd Amplifiers of the 1970s. This cannot be found any other way. ( THAT SOUND) we have been searching for without the weight of the old Discontinued Amplifiers.

Clean, Clean, Clean

Absolut cleaner Preamp mit sehr flexibel einstellbarem EQ. Nix Overdrive, nix Break Up, einfach nur der Sound der Gitarre, oder was immer man anschließen will. Rauscht nicht, bzw. nur bei extremen Einstellungen. Sowohl vom Input als auch vom Output sehr flexibel, da gehen passive Instrumente, aktive, aber auch Effektgeräte davor und dahinter alles vom HiZ Input eines Röhrenamps bis zu weiteren Effekten oder ein Mischpult (vom Mic Preamp bis zum Line In).

Mit der Klangregelung kann man die Charakteristik jedes cleanen Amps einfach nachbilden. Natürlich den Fender Twin für die Steel Guitar, aber eben auch den Polytone für die Jazz Gitarre (und alles dazwischen). Wegen top Signalqualität auch als Booster vor Röhrenamps sehr tauglich. Leider Nichts speicherbar aber dafür halt komplett analog.

Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass keine Bedienungsanleitung dabei ist und die auf der Peavey Website ziemlichen BS enthält. Für "Einsteiger" nicht so schön. Wenn man sowas braucht, den Preis aber insgesamt sehr wert.

Je joue de la pedal steel depuis un bon nombre d'années, et ce pré-ampli est la réplique parfaite du légendaire Peavey Session 400 LTD, dédié à la steel. Utilisé en directe sur ma carte son Focusrite pro 40, et je retrouve le son exacte de l'ampli original. J'ai également testé sur la boucle d'effets de mon Quilter Tone bloc 202, et le rendu est également très proche du Peavey. A recommander chaudement aux steelers qui recherchent le son Peavey, c'est un bon investissement qui surprendra par la qualité du son et l'efficacité de ses réglages.
