Must have for wind gongs

This is a hard mallet and although it can be used on tam-tams, I find it works brilliantly on wind gongs as the attack produces wonderful whooshes with minimal effort. A go-to mallet (I can also recommend the smaller M9 for the same reasons).

OK, wer Paiste will, muß den Preis zahlen, doch es lohnt sich.
Dieser Beater ist hart, seeehr hart, genau definierter Anschlag, verzeiht keine Unsauberkeit. Doch gut geführt, holt er aus jedem Gong die Obertonvielfalt heraus. Ich nutze ihn für praktisch alle Gongs zwischen 50...100cm. Besonders interessant fand ich auch, ihn in Kombination mit einem sehr weichen, schweren Mallet zu spielen, dann sorgt dieser für den satten Grundton, während der M12 die Obertöne zaubert.
Ausprobieren, es lohnt sich.
