Unreliable connection
illninio 29.06.2024
Had it for a few weeks now and played a couple of gigs with it.. Standing next to my board and having the signal dropping out is something I never thought would happen when I was purchasing it..🥲 Completely unreliable for a bigger gig. Yesterday dropouts happened during my solos, which is completely unacceptable for a live situation in a trio band..

It's really light and comfortable to use, packed with features, but I'm definitely getting an analog device next time!

P
Love/hate relationship with the Nux B8
PepemlumbrerasMX 03.04.2026
After buying two Nux B8 transmitters, one for me and one for my brother, we realized almost immediately that the signals constantly interfere. They operate on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which causes frequent signal drops. If they operated on 5.8 GHz, they could be used professionally in crowded spaces. They are attractive, with a premium feel, and their screen is even better than the one on my Nux MG30. I'd say the tuner's accuracy is a 9/10.

However, the power/mute button on both transmitters only lasted a few months before failing. The mechanism that anchors the button's plastic to the outer casing is weak and very fragile. As a result, the button ends up sinking in, making it impossible to turn the transmitters on or off accurately.
