MXR 10 Band Equalizer Silver

I like the output for 2 amps ( not stereo ) but works OK, with no buzzing loop problems
I like the pre and post gain/volume sliders, but when the graphic is ON, there's big loss of string definition, all strings seem to "mush" together, I tried many different settings, different guitars and amps but the mush persists.
And the blue leds are so very bright that the rest of the band complained.
There is no room for lack of string definition in my style of music.
