Sounds good, but not suitable for active basses.
Alexander Karavaev 16.08.2024
If you want sound of Cliff Burton pedal makes it. But this pedal have two major flaws that is not suitable for me.

1. It is bad with active basses. Pedal have buffered bypass and if you play on active bass with boosted Lows or just play actively it makes clipping noises with low notes.

2. Fuzz cuts lows. That multiplies 1st issue. If you want to play without clipping noises, you have to set lows in your preamp at least at 5. And then fuzz cuts lows. In result your bass sounds not really great.

Overall 3 out 5.

Unleash the Beast: Cliff Burton's Legacy in a Pedal
CaYo Whitebeard. 02.06.2025
If you're chasing that iconic Cliff Burton tone, this pedal delivers in spades. The wah is expressive and responsive, capturing the essence of tracks like "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls." The fuzz is thick and aggressive, adding a layer of grit that's perfect for metal bass solos. The modern enhancements, like the switchless activation and standard 9V power, make it gig-friendly without compromising on tone. Built like a tank, it's ready to withstand the rigors of the road. Whether you're a die-hard Metallica fan or just looking to add some serious character to your sound, this pedal is a must-have.
