This tulip wood soprano has taken about 3 months to play in, with a few tears, but has been well worth it. Excellent pitch throughout and good, although not 100% reliable, high c. This can be guaranteed with more pinch to the thumbhole but this technique may wear the wood long term. Having tried everything else in the high mid range, nothing has sounded as sweet or professional. Excellent for the money, and a pretty grain that turns heads.

Die Denner Soprano von Mollenhauer ist ein sehr schönes Instrument. Sie spricht leicht an und hat einen sauberen Ton. Ich habe verschiedene Hölzer getestet und mich letztendlich für Rosenholz entschieden, da diese einen kräftigen und dennoch warmen Klang hat.

Je suis Français et j'ais commandé une flûte à bec en bois de rose de marque Mollenhauer 5125 Denner soprano pour le prix de 325 euros TTC + frais de port en promotion au lieu de 401 euros. Quand j'ai tester la flûte elle fonctionne à merveille avec un son magnifique ! Avant je jouais avec une flûte à bec soprano en plastique et c'était pas fameux et depuis que je me suis payer ce nouvelle flûte, cela me change la vie ! La finition de cette flûte à bec est vraiment magnifique. Le bois de rose est un beau bois aux belles sonorités ! Un très bel étui est fournis avec. Dans cette étui extraordinaire en tissu il y a des compartiments pour bien séparer les 3 parties de la flûte, histoire de ne pas abîmer la flûte, cette étui est extraordinaire et d'une beauté magnifique ! Cette étui possède une fermeture à glissière. Dans cette étui il y a un écouvillon pour essuyer l'humidité de l'intterrieur de la flûte en bois aprés avoir jouer, il ne faut pas oublier que le souffle est humide et il fallait y penser de mettre un écouvillon avec la flûte dans son étui et il y a aussi de l'huile pour entretenir le bois. Je fais tous mes sincères compliments à Thomann.de et Mollenhauer, bravo !!! Avec toutes sincérités, je dit : tout est parfait, rien à redire ! Je suis très satisfait de mon achat et j'en ferait une très belle publicité autour de moi !

Debo empezar diciendo que no soy un experto, por lo tanto mi ebvaluación ha de ser tomada con precaución.
Como objeto es preciosa. Se toca bien, es fácil controlar el flujo de aire y muy expresiva.
Me ha sorprendido que la parte interior de los agujeros no esté bien lijada y en consecuencia hay pequeñas virutas de madera que indudablemente han de afectar a las ondas sonoras.
El Do y el Fa bajos suenan bastante mas flojos que el resto de las notas, mientras que el Re bajo suena bastante mas fuerte. Imagino que una parte del problema es mi falta de técnica, pero con otras flautas no he notado tanta diferencia.
El sonido es muy bonito y diría que es un instrumento muy expresivo.
Debo insistir en que no debe tomarse estos comentarios muy seriamente, ya que no soy un experto.
Añado que cada vez estoy mas satisfecho con este instrumento.
