I installed the Millenium QuiHead on an 18" bass drum of a Tama Club Jam Mini to be able to practise with less noise. The meshhead achieved exactly that. The sound of course differs from an acoustic set with "real" drumheads, but for my purposes the meshhead is ideal. It seems very durable and the response is similar to a regular head if under the right tension.

Great for silent practice when I don't want to annoy my neighbours. I use it on my 18" kick and it completely silences the sound.

Put the 18" on my bass drum. Can barely hear it. Although it comes out on a phone recording. In the room the reduction is something like 90% (at a guess).

If you're looking at these for quiet practise... stop waiting and get on it.
Thoroughly recommended.

J'ai équipé ma batterie électronique avec ces peaux Mesh GC18" Tom10" Tom13" et CC12", cela fait 1 an 1/2...elles sont vraiment super solides (double plis), agréables à jouer et en plus elles ont un design plus que sympa...elles sont top...rapport qualité prix imbattable.
