Excellent value
A real gem at the price point. Sits gorgeously well in my rack and look forward to many days of usage

IT sounds great
Value for money, it has very musical saturation, along with a nice airband. Great on any source for adding depth. I use it a lot on my master buss and I feel it just gives my mixes a lift before adding eq or compression. Build quality is excelent. At a budget price I think it was a good investment.

Highly recomended
I like them alot, 80db works very well with a DA87, lots of character and they could be priced much higher.

Instant Width and Air, Loving the Midas XL4-2 on My Mix Bus
The Midas XL4-2 really surprised me. I didn’t pick it up for vocals since I already have a solid hardware vocal chain, but I wanted to see what it could do on my mix bus—and I’m impressed.
It adds a noticeable sense of air and openness to the mix without sounding harsh or artificial. The stereo image feels wider and more defined, and everything sits together in a more cohesive way. There’s a subtle polish that makes the mix feel more “finished” without over-processing.
It’s not about drastic changes—it’s more about enhancing what’s already there. On the mix bus, it brings clarity, depth, and that analog-style glue that’s hard to describe but easy to hear.
Definitely a keeper for mix bus duties.
