I bought a Rath R100 a few months ago from Thomanns and have enjoyed how nimble it is compared to my trombone with the F attachment. I did not find my flexibility or high notes were as good as I would have liked comparing it to my F attachment trombone. I read a detailed review of the R100 in which the reviewer replaced the leadpipe with a R10 leadpipe and said it transformed the instrument. I thought I would try the R10A leadpipe as I could return the leadpipe if it did not make much difference. The R10A leadpipe has made a big difference improving my high notes and flexibility and I have kept it.
