Stunning bass for the price

I have had my V3 for just over a week now and I couldn’t be happier with it. I read and heard good things about the Marcus Miller basses including the inclusion of quality elements that you would normally expect on higher priced instruments such as rolled edges on the fretboard. I couldn’t be more impressed with the bass. Excellent straight out of the box, the set up is great, action and intonation perfect. The orange colour sizzles and it’s a small thing but k like the self-coloured head stock. It’s a nice weight, a really comfortable bass to play and it is really well balanced. It’s kept in tune very well and has great sound. I’ve been playing it running just through a compressor pedal to get a feel for its natural sound and I love it. It’s my first jazz bass and my first Sire. I’m absolutely sure it won’t be my last.

Looks and plays much more than its value! I am really happy with this bass... finish is great , sounds OK and in my case, only a few tweaks outside the box

Ein gut verarbeiteter Bass. Das Setup ist hier aufgrund der etwas zu tiefen Saitenlage noch zu machen. Das ist halt bei aus dem Seekontainer kaufen so heutzutage. Thomann bietet das aber günstig an.
Bespielbarkeit ist super, wie halt ein Jazzbass so ist. Der Hals ist dünner als traditionell. Eine C-Form.
Und der Klang ist selbst mit den Werkssaiten echt prima. Differenziert tief und schöne Obertöne, alles mit dem Anschlag beeinflussbar.
Da fehlt nichts. Damit kann man auf jede Bühne.

Wir sind begeistert

Nachdem wir diesen Bass in alter Ausführung als aktive Bass gebraucht gekauft haben und die Elektronik anscheinend defekt war, entschieden wir uns für den Kauf dieses Basses mit passiver Schaltung.
Was soll ich sagen, für uns an Anfänger*innen gibt es wohl kaum einen besseren Bass, was Preis-Leistung angeht.

Toller, samtweicher Hals mit Satin-Finish, Seitenlage ab Werk OK.
Toller Klang.
Gute Verarbeitung.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
