Just as you expect
I’ve used these a lot in college and wedding gigs and it works well with my SM57 - including the mic clip from Shure! Highly recommend going for this rather than a cheaper one I’ve had issues with those.

good quality utility stand.
There are better stands available but these are great for the price in a studio or on live gigs.

Does the job, easy to setup once you get the hang of it and it goes deceptively low to the ground. I was able to mount my other mic on it as well, despite it being a vocal mic with a shock mount - you know the one.
First time ever buying this type of product and honestly the recommendation under the SM57 was this stand, pretty happy with it.

Not bad at all!
For the price it's a great stand. After some years of use it starts failing a bit, but if you need a quick fix to hold a mic it's great.

Can't complain at all
Got this included with the sm57 I got a while back, I'd happily pay the price for this alone seeing as how compact it gets and how much it extends. With it, I even managed to (just barely) have it pass off as a vox mic – for reference, I'm 5'4". Taken this abroad with me a couple times and had no issues.
