The Kala U-Bass Solid Body 4 TB FL measures a total of 84.5cm in length, with a scale length (vibrating string length) of approximately 60cm. The body, crafted from Okoume, is paired with a classic maple neck and laurel fingerboard. A special instrument like this one of course requires special strings, which in this case are custom roundwounds developed specifically by Kala. In addition to the split pickup, the ukulele's P-bass styling continues with its passive electronics, which comprise a single control each for volume and tone, while the black bridge, machine heads, and potentiometer knobs, in addition to a high-gloss finish in Tobacco Burst and white pickguard, create a timeless look that spans all genres.
