Best home practice amp for me
GregTer 15.02.2022
If you like marshallish tube amp tone for home practice. I think is the best solution. Very good for pedals, I have try it with to many different pedals and works perfectly. Has even FX loop but even in front of the amp works perfectly with all pedals. when you try to use it with headphones is not the best, but is ok, don't sucks.

K
Joyo Jackman II - bang for the buck
Krankenstein 23.06.2025
If you're after warm British tones with limited budget, this could be for you. It has surprisingly nice Marshall-ish (not necessarily a jcm) dirty sound. I bought it for practicing so I could spare my 100 watt head's tubes but I found myself using and enjoying this one as much as my main amp.

Features:
-FX loop, 2 channels, footswitch included; these features are impossible to find at this price range. It handles my pedals nicely, loud enough for my purposes, maybe even too loud for that (home practice). Fits in my backpacks, weights nothing, can drive 8 ohm cabs like a champ (loses a bit of volume when connected to 16 ohm).

The bad:
-Makes a loud pop noise when opened or when you hit the channel switch.

Good to mention:
-Sounds bad when used with headphones out.
-Bluetooth feature looks handy but often useless in reality. Guitar speakers are not full range speakers so dont expect your music to sound good when you're jamming with it. However you can still connect a metronome or drums/guitars only backing tracks.
-It’s a low gain amp. Requires an overdrive pedal in front to achieve at least 80s heavy metal sound. For modern metal check joyo zombie etc.
-Having only one tone control will limit you.
-Clean sound is just meh in my opinion.
-Weak bass response

But again, except the annoying popping noise these are quite normal things for a very small practice amp with this price. Thats why I dont count them as 'the bad'

Also, I only used with good cabs (engl 212/v30, peavey 212/greenbacks) so my experience with this amp is heavily influenced by it. I previously ordered and then returned marshall dsl1 and blackstar ht1 heads. I really liked dsl1 but it only had 16ohm out and Blackstar was extremely boomy with my cab. Joyo in the other hand covered all my needs with only half price.

Conclusion: I'd rate 4.8/5 comparing to the similar (even more) priced heads. I'm now thinking to buy another jackman for stereo setup.

whats not to like?
Doogle 01.02.2023
I use this for guitar students in the house and plug it in to my 2x12. connect my metronome app on my phone and bluetooth it through the speaker when need to. changing channel with a pedal is great and simple to control tone. I also take it with me to gigs as a backup and had to use it a couple times and it's been great through the 2x12 and 4x12.

Great amp. Nearly brilliant
Richard 1961 24.12.2022
For the money, unbeatable. Not quite the drive of top brand 20w valve amps but a quarter the price. Its my backup for a Marshall and the sound is very similar.

Personal choice I would rather it had a line out than an effects loop. But that’s just me.

Great amp. Definitely well worth the money. Played through a cab with 2x Celestion V30s it sounds great. Would suit me for a gig if my Marshall failed but would need to mic the cab as it would struggle otherwise. Hence line out would have been good for me.
