Ein Mundstück, mit dem man sich in einer Bigband und/oder Funkband gut durchsetzen kann und gleichzeitig gut kontrollierbar ist?
Ja, mit dem Jody Jazz DV HR gut gelöst. Kraftvoll, obertonreich, relativ leichte und vor allem schnelle Ansprache mit Kante sowie akkurater Intonation...So könnte man dieses Mundstück beschreiben. Durchsetzungsstark, aber nicht mit sägenden Obertönen, sondern noch genügend sonor und warm. Meiner Meinung nach reicht die Bahnöffnung 6 voll und ganz aus, um genügend Kraft zu entwickeln. Kombiniert mit dem Blatt D'Addario Select Jazz 2S, Reedmaster Ligatur verhilft es mir auf meinem Yamaha YBS 82 zu einem tollen dominanten Sound. Für Bigband oder Funkband gut geeignet. Für Blasorchester, wo eher der leise Verschmelzungsklang angesagt ist, weniger. Da bevorzuge ich mein Selmer S80 C*.
