Ich benutze die Software als VST Plugin in Cubase auf einem Mac, wo sie tadellos läuft. Die Rechnerauslastung ist gering und die graphische Umsetzung sehr gelungen. Es macht Spaß, an den virtuellen Amp Modellen zu schrauben und seinen Sound zu suchen. Die Stärke der Orange Amps liegt natürlich im Crunch-Bereich, aber es lassen sich auch schöne Clean Sounds oder ein fettes Metal Brett einstellen. Lobenswert hervorzuheben ist, dass das Plug-In auch einige Bass Verstärker enthält, so dass man eigentlich umfassend bedient ist. Ich persönlich finde, dass die jeweiligen Verstärker Modelle ganz gut getroffen sind. Insgesamt hätte ich mir die Abstimmung gerne etwas fetter und weniger höhenlastig gewünscht, aber das ist natürlich Geschmacksache.
Alles in allem kann ich die Software nur empfehlen.
