Robust and to the Point.

The Hotone Ampero II Press is a super handy little pedal that packs an expression pedal and a momentary footswitch into one compact unit. It’s built from solid aluminum, feels sturdy underfoot, and doesn’t need any power, which makes it easy to drop onto any board. The expression side is smooth and accurate, and the switch is quick to respond when you need it. That said, the small size does mean the sweep can feel a bit short, hitting full range before you reach the toe. You’ll also need a device that works with TRS to get the most out of it. Overall, it’s a tough, budget‑friendly option if you want something small and versatile without taking up much space.

I bought the unit from Thomman 4 months ago, for use with my FMP. A week ago, units exp pedal stopped working. Output signal is fixed at 60%, pressing pedal either way does not change the signal. Toe switch is working. Switched to a different TRS cable, same result. Used a spare expression pedal and FMP is working just fine. Just sent a message to Hotone and lets see what happens..

A wonderful expression pedal! I bought it for use with the Ampero II Stage processor. It works perfectly! It's compact, has a sturdy metal body, and the clicky on/off button is a real plus, as I've been using a Dunlop Cry Baby analog pedal for years. I was also pleasantly surprised by the non-slip grip on the pedal (it comes with a spare non-slip grip and Velcro for attaching it to a pedalboard). It has a nice, modern design. This is one of the best modern expression pedals out there! Buy it with confidence!
