BE AWARE:Out of Tune Melodica

Be careful…. These melodicas play slightly out of tune. Very noticeable to any trained ear and impossible to be used for recordings.
Thomann was accommodating as they replaced it (despite it was a 2 years old order… I never used it and when I recorded I realized there was a pitch issue on over 50% of the notes). Thomann replaced it but, surprisingly the new one has exactly the same problem.
Now they say there is nothing they can do. Quite disappointing as such manufacturer should stand behind its products. Who needs a musical instrument which plays out of tune ?
