Este tipo de armónica es un clásico en la armónica de blues.
Es la clásica Marine band solo que el sonido es un poco más agudo que la original, no llega a ser una pícolo, pero quizá para algunas afinaciones para mi gusto como la de B o C suenan más cañeras que las clásica Marine band.

Los problemas genéricos de las armónicas de blues suelen coincidir siempre son los mismos:
1.- Elección de plástico, o Madera. Comodidad/precio, frente a mejor sonido.
2.- Si elejimos la de madera, ""tienes los típicos problemas que tienen todas"" es el mantenimientos, ya que hay que limpiarlas mucho más asiduamente que las de plástios.

Es cierto que hay algunos modelos de armónica de blues de plástico como las Golden Melody de Hohner que suenan genial y son un poco más caras, pero llevan menos mantenimiento que las clasicas de madera y se le aproxima mucho en sonido.

Wenn man sich ein bischen damit beschäftigt, welcher Ton wie zu spielen ist, sind Begleitungen zum Blues echt nicht mehr schwierig. Ich hatte den Bogen nach ca. einer halben Stunde raus. Natürlich waren das keine perfekten Mundharmonika-Soli, aber man kann nicht sagen, dass irgendwas nicht zur Gitarrenbegleitung gepasst hätte.
Tipp: Wer so ein Gerät, wie ich, an einen Johnny Cash-Fan verschenken will, findet mit Hilfe der google Bildersuche alte amerikanische Werbeanzeigen, in denen Johnny Cash die hohner Mundharmonika anpreist. "The sound of a hohner". Darauf ist lustigerweise genau die marinestar auch abgebildet, und sie sieht heute jnoch genauso aus wie damals! Ich habe mir das als geschenkpapier ausgedruckt...

Wie alle Marine Band Classics hat auch diese einen wunderbaren, vollen Klang, liegt traumhaft in der Hand und lässt sich mit wenig Atemluft herrlich spielen mit allem, was dazu gehört.
Auch, wenn diese Modellreihe vielleicht etwas unbequemer zu spielen ist aufgrund der Kantigkeit, ist sie für mich - auch verglichen mit der Deluxeversion - immer die erste Wahl.
