Overall great guitar with some issues.
First, the thomann customer service is excellent. They will resolve any issues and are responsive. The guitar reached me fast without any issues.
The guitar out of the box was excellent. The setup was great, but I had to raise the high E a little bit as there was fret buzz. The frets were absolutely NOT polished. This is inexcusable as to how scratchy they were. I spend some time polishing them, they are smooth now but not shiny. The fretboard is not rolled and very sharp 90 deg. The frets on my guitar were beautifully rounded on both low and high side. The trem was setup up floating and I blocked it. The trem block is the thinnest I have seen on any guitar. It is so thin than they cut of the string holes. I feel this is very bad for tone and the overall sound is anemic. Considering this is a high end bridge they should have put a better block. It seems like a cheap zinc block. Will defenitely have to find a replacement. If someone knows an exact replacement for the babicz block please comment.
The neck is the most wonderful neck I have ever played. If HB comes out with a higher spec Tele with this neck I would absolutely buy it. Dont have the wild flames as pictured but not a big deal. Tuning is slightly unstable as I have to tune it every now and then. Dont know the reason as I have decked the trem. Intonation was a little off.
The pickups didnt do it for me and will have to find a replacement.
I feel the pickups combined with the thin trem block is the reason for the anemic tone.
