Dont expect HB hardware to work with this
The kit is most ok at best. I had a lot of fun building it, but by the time it was done, the only part of the kit remaining on the guitar was the body.
The neck had glue splatters on the fretboard around the fretwire and splotches randomly on the fretboard wood itself, meaning a full neck sanding and refret was needed (definitely not beginner friendly to fix these problems that shouldn't exist int he first place).
Doing this on the neck that came with the kit was too risky, so I had to buy a replacement with higher quality. The neck that's come with the kit is now only a scrap to experiment and learn these skills with.
I also bought some Harley Benton replacement hardware for this kit (specifically the jack plate and pickguard), as the hardware was mostly low quality (which to be fair isn't unreasonable at this price), but unfortunately none of it fits the predrilled holes, so you'll need to fill and redrill a lot. As a Harley Benton Kit, I don't think it was unreasonable to assume Harley Benton Hardware to fit it, but alas, I was wrong.
The pre-sealed body also meant hours of hard work sanding back to a position where I could apply a wood dye and customise the body colour. Unless you like the wood tone in the image, I would look elsewhere.
If you want something very simple to put together, with no customisation whatsoever, I'd recommend this kit. It seems pretty good to put simply put together. But otherwise, if you want to customise it at all, you may be better looking elsewhere.
As soon as any customisation's involved, this kit works against you, rather than with you. But hey, I also learned a lot from that too, so it's up to you how much effort you think a cheap kit like this is worth.

Surprisingly, you don't get what you pay for.
The bridge is not reinforced with 4 screw holes like seen in the picture. The neck does not have a clean, balanced appearance on the frets. The wood is cut so roughly that there's massive inch long fragments blocking the electronics from sitting in their holes. The pickup is thicker than it should be and has a massive magnet's worth of excessive bulk. The headstock is like a ping pong paddle. Even for someone's first guitar I could imagine being disappointed. Shipping cost is prohibitively freakish and despite the kit itself being packaged in a short thin box, that box was in a massive 5 foot tall box with hardly any padding.

My kit came with routing issues
Good neck , good amount of features .
But my neck had routing issues that were pretty bad . QC failed me here and im gonna probably have to fix the body myself which is always annoying.
Overall the neck was perfect but the body left too much to be desired .
I got unlucky.
