Generic and typical licks

I bought this dvd hoping to help me grasp something more towards playing blues and incorporate it into my own playing style. but the licks in this dvd are generic typical and some are just completely unusable. maybe it would've worked better if the licks were put into context of an actual track and also play them in more than just 1 key (Am). I'm sure if you dig deep MAYBE you could use something from is dvd but because there's a complete lack of musical context for these licks, I would NOT recommend this dvd, unless desperate! also, try lick library, they have much better dvds on offer!

Muy bien en general, mi problema particular es que no se inglés y tengo que hacer un seguimiento solo visual pero como tiene una buena imagen y se acompaña de una TAB, tampoco tengo demasiado problema. Creo que debería de venir acompañado de una anotación en papel donde poder ensayar sin necesidad de tener ningún lector de CD encendido. Me ha servido de ayuda y he aprendido bastante siguiendo los respectivos vídeos. Son cuatro profesores, con diferentes estilos, los que te enseñan 50 maravillosos licks cada uno que te puedes memorizar fácilmente. Ojo, que no son solos de canciones, son solamente frases, maravillosas la mayoría pero cortas, sin mas. Terminas envolviéndote en esa peculiar atmósfera del blues. Me lo volvería a comprar sin ninguna duda.

Ich übe gerne mit der DVD. Die meisten Licks finde ich tatsächlich ganz ansprechend und die Darstellung mit den eingeblendeten Tabs ist praktisch. Die Navigation von Lick zu Lick ist - zumindest am PC - vielleicht etwas umständlich (oder ich stell mich zu blöd an). Ansonsten hab ich mein Lick-Vokabluar schon etwas erweitern können und habe noch einige Licks vor mir....
