Du moderne avec l'attrait du vintage

Après avoir testé plusieurs configurations de chevalets sur ma Telecaster (pontets traditionnels non compensés, Gotoh In-Tune, différents matériaux comme le laiton ou le titane), je cherchais encore une solution vraiment satisfaisante pour l’intonation.
Ce chevalet Wilkinson coche personnellement toutes les cases.
Le système de pontets pivotants est efficace : j’obtiens une intonation précise sur chaque corde tout en conservant l’esthétique et le feeling vintage de la Telecaster. Pas besoin de passer à un chevalet moderne pour être juste.
La fabrication Gotoh Japan est impeccable, solide et proprement finie.
Seul petit détail : les vis de pivot sont un peu imposantes, mais elles sont arrondies et lisses, et on s’y habitue très vite. Ce n’est pas plus gênant qu’un chevalet Mastery.
En résumé, une excellente amélioration pour n’importe quelle Telecaster, performante, bien conçue et proposée à un prix très raisonnable.
