I am a fan of locking tuners simply for the ease and speed of changing strings and last but not least the improved tuning stability.

I have chosen these tuners to replace the original ones used by Fender (USA) who were "self-locking". I prefer those with a knurled screw on the back as for me it is easier and faster to change strings.

As the package includes two sizes of push-in sleeves I took those which fitted my Stratocaster (USA) best and the tool was very helpful in getting those installed in the headstock.

The tuners are very smooth, good looking and fit like a glove.

The price ratio I think is unbeatable considering the quality of these tuners.
For me a no brainer and I would buy them anytime again!

Ausgezeichnete Austauschmechaniken für Vintage Tuner. Beiliegend finden sich zwei verschiedene Sätze Hülsen (kurz und lang sowie minimal unterschiedlich im Durchmesser der Hülse), ein Ausschlagstift für die alten Hülsen und Schrauben, die allerdings für Fender Headstocks etwas zu lang bemessen sind (ggf. muss etwas nachgebohrt werden). DIe Gotoh-Mechaniken sind gestaggert (3/3), passen perfekt und funktionieren wie erwartet gut. Ich habe die Mechaniken jetzt auf einer Strat und einer Fretking-Tele "Jerry Donahue" verbaut und bin glücklich, endlich die ollen Vintage Mechs los zu sein. Würde ich glatt wieder kaufen!
