ein Traum von einer SG

Eine normale Bewertung ist hier bedingt hilfreich, da die üblichen Specs und Funktionalitäten sicherlich deutlich günstiger zu haben sind, für üblich wird eine solche Gitarre nicht gekauft. Von einer vorzüglichen Verarbeitung und top Setup kann berechtigter Weise ausgegangen werden. Ausgepackt, in tune. Bombe! Diese Gitarre hat ein magisches Handling und einen irren Sound! Als bekennender Fan einer australischen Combo habe ich über die Jahre schon einige SG gespielt. Das hier ist ohne Worte. Die Performance der Alnico Custombucker kombiniert mit dem Maestro Vibrola lassen in allen Belangen u.a. meine Paula erblassen, egal ob an einem JVM410H oder an einem 5W Zimmer-Tubemeister, sagenhaftes Spektrum und Sustain. Optisch sehr gelungen sind die leicht gebraucht wirkenden Mechaniken ohne weiteres Pseudoaging, formvollendeter Body, in der Linie dezent filigraner als die Standard SG, sehr stimmig. Alle Bedenken wegen des Vibrola unnötig, absolut in tune und nach Entfernen des Hebels sehr angenehme Bespielbarkeit ohne die übliche Brücke. Das beste zum Schluss: Baby has got neck. Einen solchen Hals hatte ich noch nie in der Hand, sprachlos. Wer sich ein Custom–Schätzchen zulegen möchte, sollte dieses Modell zumindest in Betracht ziehen. Mit Sicherheit eines der gelungensten Reissues aus Nashville von Big G.

Cette guitare fait partie des rares instruments qui inspirent une certaine façon de jouer...
Elle suscite l'exploration musicale !
Une fois qu'on commence à y toucher, il devient difficile de la lâcher !
Le manche y est pour beaucoup : une autoroute à six voies sans limitation de vitesse.
Le son est prodigieux. L'équilibre, l'attaque, le sustain...

Très belle qualité de fabrication, finition impeccable.
Un instrument de toute beauté.

J'ai pu la comparer avec l'authentique SG vintage '61 d'un ami, et je m'attendais à constater de grandes différences entre les deux guitares.
Que nenni ! Le suffixe "VOS" (Vintage Original Specs) n'est pas usurpé !
Elle semble surgir directement du passé, intacte depuis 1964 !
Seule différence entre les deux, la puissance des micros (les aimants ALNICO ont tendance à se démagnétiser au cours du temps, sans grandes conséquences sur la personnalité sonore) de l'instrument.
Celui-ci s'adapte à tous les styles de jeu et offre une palette sonore très étendue.
Un instrument pour la vie !

Som dagen - den 24. november - altså lille lillejuleaften, hvor guitaren dumpede ind ad brevsprækken.. ish :)
Guitaren lyder utrolig godt og matcher og blender sammen med lydene fra guitarene fra Beatles albummet Revolver. Guitaren er indbegrebet af HØJ byggekvalitet. Alt er der kælet for. Lak, træ, hardware og helhedsindtrykket er mindst 5 stjerner. Pickupperne er f.eks. ikke waxed hvilket giver en meget mere klar og udtrykt lyd end pickupper der er potted. Lakken er Nitrocellulose hvilket er med til lade kroppen synge og vibrere naturligt, igen er der tale om en åben sound. En lækker detalje, er båndene som er overbinded, som er at bindingen på halsen går HELT op af bånd-enderne, som efter min mening er så cool og blæret. Om guitaren er en god investering må tiden vise. Man skal i de fleste tilfælde ikke købe guitarer for investeringens skyld men for ens egen nydelse :)
Denne guitar vil følge mig i mange år fremover ved jeg. Kan varmt anbefales.
