Gibson ES-339 Figured 60s Cherry

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einer perfekten ES-Gitarre und habe zu diesem Zweck auch viele Gibson ES 335 ausprobiert. Da ich bisher nur Les Pauls gewohnt war, waren mir diese jedoch immer etwas zu sperrig.

Ich habe dann per Zufall diese wunderschöne Gibson ES 339 auf der Thomann-Webseite entdeckt. Ich wusste zwar nicht, was mich erwartet, jedoch war ich schon alleine vom Aussehen der Gitarre verzaubert – und ich wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht.

Die Gitarre (besonders das Figured-Red) sieht unglaublich fantastisch aus und sie klingt wirklich großartig. Zudem ist sie extrem leicht im Vergleich zu einer Les Paul.

Größenmäßig liegt sie meiner Meinung nach zwischen einer Les Paul und einer ES 335.

Die Verarbeitung ist Top, ich konnte keine Mängel feststellen. Ebenso war das Factory-Setup tadellos, ich musste lediglich die Pickup-Höhe etwas nachjustieren.

Das C-Rounded Halsprofil würde ich einem 59er Halsprofil zuordnen – nicht zu kräftig, jedoch auch kein Slim-Taper Profil.

Die MHS-Humbucker liefern einen sehr klaren, dynamischen, vintagemäßigen Ton, finde ich, und können ordentlich Gas geben. Ideal für Blues und Rock, evt. auch Jazz. Ich bin eher im Classic-Rock-Genre alla Led Zeppelin und ZZ-Top beheimatet, und dazu passt sie einfach perfekt.

Als einzigen Kritikpunkt sehe ich den hohen Preis – aber alles in allem bin ich wirklich sehr zufrieden und kann sie nur weiterempfehlen.

Magnífico instrumento

Llevaba tiempo detrás de esta guitarra. La había probado y me pareció perfecta por su tamaño más contenido que la ES-335; y por su tono, más próximo a la Les Paul para rockear, respecto a la 335. La guitarra me llegó perfectamente ajustada y es una preciosidad en este acabado, mástil comodísimo y tono sublime, especialmente con un poco de crunch

Exceptional!

This is my first Gibson guitar. I was fascinated by it's gorgeous look and color. It sounds perfect and I feel more comfortable on it than on a Strat.
I've heard many rumours that Gibson is not paying too much attention to details and quality nowadays, but I found absolutely no issue, whether it came unsealed.
I am very happy with this guitar!
Mr. Hans Thomann was extremely kind and careful with my order, and I want to thank him again! It was not the first time I had a very good experience with him! That is the normal behaviour towards the customers, and I really appreciate his approach!

Optisch wie klanglich ein Traum, besser als viele andere, die ich im Vergleich dazu probiert habe - geht ganz direkt ab! Leider hat sie aber auch ihren Preis. Aber: Lohnt sich trotzdem auf jeden Fall!
