The hoop is pretty thick, which makes it feel sturdy and that it's made of high quality. There have been no cracks so far, and it's already taken a lot of beating.

The rim shots sound lovely and overall made the drum sound a bit warmer. Would recommend!

J'utilise ce cerclage pour remplacer un vieux cercle en bois déjà bien usé (Caisse Claire PRODIPE SALMIERI).

Je joue prêt de 3h/jour depuis l'achat (1 mois 1/2) et quelques traces d'usures commencent à apparaitre, mais rien d'alarmant (je joue très souvent en rimshot).

Pour moi, le cerclage en bois est un vrai confort de jeu. Au niveau des sensations, la frappe est plus souple. Ne peux pas convenir à tout les batteurs...

Pour le son, la différence n'est pas si grande entre un cercle en métal et un cercle en bois.

Je n'ai changer que le cercle de la peau de frappe... ça commence à chiffrer vite après... pour un cercle en bois!

Ich habe mir den Wood Hoop bestellt, um einen wärmeren, angenehmeren und holzigeren Snaresound zu bekommen!

Meine Bedenken waren, das er nicht auf meine Sonor Sclassix Snare passt! Ging aber alles bestens!

Der Sound von Sidesticks und Rhimshots ist wirklich viel angenehmer und wärmer!

Die Verarbeitung ist perfekt und bis jetzt sind keine Macken auf dem Spannreifen. ich benutze allerdings weiche Millenium Sticks!

Der Spannreifen für das Resofell hat, denke ich keine Auswirkungen auf den Sound, aber natürlich auf die Optik.

Also wer auf warme, holzige snaresounds steht: Kaufen!!!
