It was too big for my Fender Tele's control cavity. It fits the plate perfectly but the edge of the control cavity is a bit rolled so with the switch plate sits 2mm to the bridge side. Screws of the plate do not line up. By the way there is a telecaster specific version of the same switch, it has the same dimensions.
I trusted this one having the same dimensions as the tele one and bought it. I could only realize when I tried to fit it. Others also had the same issue. They say vintage tele cavity is too tight for the switch, you need to route the edges to be more square.
Anyways, I'll look into routing the cavity, maybe I return it don't know.
