Mein Sax ist ein Jupiter mit Originalmundstücke (mittlere bis enge Bahn). Ich mag den klassischen, weichen Sax-Ton. Bisher spielte ich Hemke-Blätter (3er). Das Forestone ist mein erstes Kunststoffblatt, gekauft aus rein praktischen Gründen: Notfalls hingreifen und losspielen können ohne das Blatt vorher anspielen/anfeuchten zu müssen. Meine Erwartung wurden übertroffen: Das Blatt klingt wirklich gut. Seine Konstanz im Verhalten wirkt sich positiv auf meinen Ansatz aus. Die im Vergleich zu Holz glatte Oberfläche scheint bei mir weniger die Speichelbildung anzuregen, was ich als echten Vorteil empfinde. Nachteilig sehe ich die Stärkenangabe: Neben dem 2er habe ich auch ein 2,5 erworben - welches mir aber noch "leichter" vorkommt, als das 2er -Exemplarstreuung? Ansonsten entspricht nach meiner Einschätzung mein 2er einem lange weichgespielten Hemke 3er.
