The reed feels nice, looks nice and plays nice. It is a bit stiffer than its Hinoki cousin, but it wins in style points. Ordering it slightly less stiff than other Forestone reeds is recommended if you are a beginner.

die Blätter sind nicht so gleichbleibend, wie ich gedacht hatte. Ähnlich wie ein Holzblatt verlieren sie mit der Zeit ein bisschen die Spannung. Sie klingen zwar für mich vom ersten Aufspannen an um Längen besser als jedes andere Kunststoffblatt, das ich bisher gespielt habe, zwar hell, aber nicht schrill und trotzdem mit einer gewissen Wärme, aber sie werden dann auch nach einer Weile viel leichter. Deswegen empfehle ich, sie im Zweifel eine Nummer härter zu bestellen, sie nicht auf dem Mundstück zu lassen, sondern auf eine gerade Oberfläche zu spannen (Blätteretui) und bei Bedarf dann auch mal mit einem Blattschneider vorsichtig die Spitze zu beschneiden. Dann kann man lange Freude an diesen wirklich gut klingenden Blättern haben, wesentlich länger als bei einem Holzblatt, aber eben auch nicht "für die Ewigkeit".
