Audio, reinvented

The EXO 28, from EVE Audio's EXO series, combines precise audio engineering with an intelligent system architecture. Featuring EVE's specially developed Precision AirMotion tweeter and an optimised waveguide, the EXO 28 delivers detailed high frequencies with exceptionally low distortion. The 8" woofer made from coated aluminium (CAL) provides powerful low‑frequency reproduction and, together with the high-grade tweeter, covers a frequency range from 37Hz up to 24kHz. With sound pressure levels of up to 120dB SPL, the EXO 28 ensures clean, dynamic reproduction even at very high volumes. Supported by the newly designed GDC waveguide, this results in a wide, consistent soundstage – with precise stereo imaging that remains stable throughout large, professionally optimised studio environments.

Hear what's really there

A well-structured mix starts with a monitor that doesn't interpret the sound, but simply reproduces it. With precise sonic imaging across the entire frequency spectrum, the EVE Audio EXO 28 allows producers to assess even the finest nuances of a track. Via the free-to-download EVE Origin software, all key DSP parameters can be controlled directly from the desktop, including level, input selection, delay, sensitivity, and EVE Audio's bespoke Smart Filters. A fully interactive 8 band EQ enables detailed sound shaping in real time, while the intuitive interface supports fast A/B comparisons and precise adjustments. Settings are stored directly on the speaker, ensuring seamless integration into any workflow. For direct access, the EXO 28 also features a rear mounted OLED display with SMART Control knob and a multifunctional front panel status indicator.

A stable foundation

With its extended low‑frequency response and substantial headroom, the EXO 28 is effective even at higher listening levels. In larger control rooms, the cabinet's rounded edges and rear‑firing bass reflex port help minimise diffraction effects and support precise localisation. Three input options – balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA, and digital via S/PDIF – allow the speaker to integrate seamlessly into complex analogue and digital studio signal paths. As part of multi‑speaker systems, the EXO 28 maintains stable imaging and tonal consistency, making it suitable for front‑channel or reference duties. Ethernet connectivity and software control provide detailed access to system parameters in larger or networked setups, while hardware operation remains available directly on the unit. Integrated threaded inserts support secure wall or ceiling mounting as part of permanent studio installations.

About EVE Audio

The German company EVE Audio was founded in 2011 and continues to develop its speakers in Berlin to this day. EVE Audio is dedicated to making professional studio monitors in a wide range of formats that deliver detailed sound not only for audio producers, but also for consumers. As a result, the lineup includes monitors for every field of use, suitable for a wide variety of rooms and budgets. EVE's engineers design a bespoke version of the well‑established Air Motion Transformer technology for each series of monitors, which is just one of the reasons all of the company's loudspeakers are characterised by precise tweeter tuning, minimal sound colouration, and improved distortion performance.

The EXO 28: Authoritative, expansive, dependable

The EVE Audio EXO 28 is built to anchor professional studio systems in environments where full‑range monitoring and high sound pressure levels are essential. Its extended low‑frequency reach and substantial headroom make the EXO 28 suited to large‑scale studio spaces and immersive audio formats, including Dolby Atmos. With EVE Origin, the monitors become part of a flexible software‑driven workflow: Complete speaker configurations can be saved and recalled as Scenes, allowing users to switch instantly between different listening setups – from neutral reference tuning to more creative or application‑specific profiles. Core DSP settings remain accessible at all times, while essential features like Wake‑on‑Signal and Safe Fade‑In ensure smooth session starts and protect connected systems from unwanted level peaks. Typical applications range from music and post‑production studios to environments where accuracy, level stability, and room coverage are equally important.
