I used it with a 15 W 8 OHMS speaker. When topping the volume, it introduced unwanted distortion even on Return input. I play through Fractal Audio FM9 and also stompboxes. I compared it with an older 15 W amp on 8 OHMS in the same combo, and somehow with the same speaker, EH was quieter. My unit might have malfunctioned because, since it doesn't have any power switch, every time I inserted a power adaptor, it threw sparks! Bad luck. Returned. Thomann refunded okay.

Super Teil. Klingt fantastisch und ist richtig laut. Jedenfalls an einer 8 Ohm/12“ Box. An 16 Ohm und 10“ kommt nicht so viel heraus. Die Klangregelung ist allerdings gewöhnungsbedürftig. Der Höhenregler regelt entgegen der Bedienungsanleitung keine Höhen dazu, sondern Bässe raus. Das Teil erinnert eh stark an alte Fender Amps. Effekte vorgeschaltet und eingeschliffen funktionieren wunderbar. Mit einer leichten 12“ Box lässt sich wunderbar ein kleines transportables Setup realisieren.
Ich bin glücklich damit.

Associé à un HP Jensen C8R, cet ampli a été testé pour divers styles, Jazz Combo et BigBand, Pop, Rock et même un peu de Métal. La sonorité "fidèle" a été appréciée. Le réglage de tonalité ou le bouton "bright"n'ont pas été utiles. "Tout nu" il lui manquerait une reverb, mais épaulé par quelques pédales choisies avec goût et parcimonie il fait des merveilles, le tout dans un mouchoir de poche.
