I keep fitting this to my builds because I love them

Ever since I bought a Mahogany bodied Ibanez SA in the early 2000s, which had been modded with a DP158 in the neck, I have fitted one in the neck position on all my humbucker guitars. I also always pair it with a Tone Zone DP155 in the bridge position. With the Ibanez 5-way switching I find this very versatile in all the playing situations I am accustomed to. My amp settings can be relatively simple, with very few patch changes, because the combinations on the guitar along with the tone and volume controls afford me 90% of what I am looking for. Is it the perfect pickup for everyone? Obviously not. Your tastes and wants and configurations are yours. But it is the perfect neck pickup for me. Oh, and for my money the quality and consistency of DiMarzio is top-notch. If you like passive pickups, I believe they're the best you can get.

Hätte nicht gedacht, das dieser Tonabnehmer so einen sanften Sound liefern kann und wenn man den Gain Regler voll aufdreht hat man den richtigen Heavy Sound, 1a! Für Lead Gitarre ;)

Alors replaçons le dans le contexte, j'ai acheter ce micro pour remplacer le micro neck de mon Ibanez Egen8, qui avais des micros ibanez pas terrible.. Autant dire que j'ai été satisfait avec celui là ! D'abord parlons du clean, un clean magnifique chaud, rond, enfin bref et couplé avec un single coil (Sur la mienne un Fender
Texas Special Strat Neck) ça donne un son rond et chaud avec beaucoup de claquant ! Parlons maintenant en disto, bah rien a redire dessus, je suis un peut moins fan, parce que pour l'instant je n'es pas trouvé un réglage qui aille avec, mais c'est plutôt énorme pour faire des sweep picking !
