Either it works wonderfully, or I have the cleanest, oil-free hands (which I don't).

Easy to use, keep strings fresh, double life of strings. Only things is I hate the new plastic container, you have to unscrew the top, a bit annoying!! Before in the metal tin container you just pulled top top off!!! If have have a tin container keep it for the new applicator!!

The best lubricant / cleaner product so far. I used the Fast Fret and Fender Speed Slick ror years, but lateley some are dry and last only a week or so.
Then i discovered the XLR8 which has a proper metal box and the plastic pad has it's own cap, so it is difficult to dry.
For a proper application, i clean the strings with a cloth and the apply the XLR8... and i have the slickest strings ever.

I use that product a long time and always keep my strings new for long time. That product helped me a lot cause before I use it I needed change the strings every month, and now I don't need spend money with old strings.

Bought this after seeing Henning Pauly using it all the time on YouTube. Really does perk up the strings and make them faster and smoother to play. Little pot seems to last a long time. Recommended.
