Very good reeds

Lovely consistent box of reeds. Compared to the V12s that I used to play, I was able to use the same strength, but had much more consistent results. They kept their qualities well during the breakin process, and, with minimal adjustment, I got 7-8 reeds that I would happily play in public. I don’t feel the same amount of overtones as the V12s though, resulting in the lost star. Whether this tradeoff is worth it, I’ll still have to see! Depends what I order next…

Auf der Suche nach Alternativen zu Vandoren V12 bin ich aber diese gestoßen, da ich vorher auch schon auf Rico Reserve gespielt habe.
Der Klang und die Ansprache sind besser als bei Vandoren, neben Gonalez GD 3,5 sind das meine neuen Favoriten. Die Stärke ist etwa schwächer, so daß ich beim nächsten mal 3,5 + und 4 bestellen werde.
