Ich bin Keyboarder in einer Rentnerband. Die Mundharmonika führte für mich eher ein stiefmütterliches Dasein. Aber in Zeiten von Corona wo wir Oldies leider nicht mehr zusammen musizieren können möchte man dennoch auf die Musik nicht verzichten, und so beschloss ich meine Fertigkeiten auf der Mundharmonika zu verbessern. Ein Freund empfahl mir dazu die Seydel Lightning.
Nun halte ich dieses Instrument in meinen Händen, ein Kunstwerk aus 150 Gramm schwerem Edelstahl, eine Schönheit. Was für ein angenehmes Gefühl. Sie hat einen fantastischen Klang von den tiefen bis zu den höchsten Tönen. Noch nie ist mir das Bending so leicht gefallen. Oktaven und Akkorde klingen einfach wunderschön und lassen erahnen, welch präzise Handarbeit bei der Herstellung dieses Instruments beteiligt war.
Das feine Instrument ist nun mein ständiger Begleiter, und ich hole es bei jeder Gelegenheit aus meiner Tasche, Ich freue mich schon darauf es meiner Band vorstellen zu können, sobald es die Bedingungen wieder erlauben zusammen zu spielen.

Sehr sehr tolles Instrument. Das Gewicht von 160 Gramm unterstreicht die Wertigkeit. Edelstahl ist absolut hygienisch und sehr sauber verarbeitet. Sie liegt sehr gut in der Hand und die Töne sind einfach Klasse.
Der Seidel Schriftzug ist schön in die Rückseite gelasert.
Aaaaber warum bitte klebt man bei solch einem hochwertig verarbeitetem Instrument, die Stimmung mit einem Gummipoppel auf die Seite??? Gelasert wäre hier der grönende Abschluss und würde das Instrument absolut perfekt machen.
Ich kann mir nur vorstellen dass viele Kanzellenkörper gebaut wurden, denn diese sind , egal welche Stimmung, alle gleich. Die Stimmplatten machen eben die Stimmung aus. Soweit verstehe ich ja den Produktionsprozess. Trotz dem könnte man bestimmt die Stimmung evtl. auch im Nachhinein gravieren oder eben lasern. Oder wenn man weiss das 100 Stück in einer bestimmten Stimmung gebraucht werden, gleich im Produktionsprozess einbringen.
Dieser Gummipoppel sieht nicht schön aus und ich vermute keine lange Haltbarkeit.
Trotz dessen ein hervorragendes Instrument.
