Description doesn't give the length of the mic (which is approx 47cm) nor that it's two separate flexible sections of about 70mm top and bottom with a plain shaft in between.

I'm using it horizontally as a conferencing mic, so it protrudes over the top of my monitor. It works well for this and (so far at least) hasn't drooped.

So, happy enough with it. Quality seems ok, though it picks up some physical noise from the fans of the PC it's sat on through the body of the mic (nothing to do with the cardiod pick-up pattern - just "handling" noise).

Bought for synth vocoder (Mininova)

I bought this microphone to complete a set up of synth with microphone (Novation Mininova). However the microphone is not an active microphone. Thereofore it did not work.
I tried another active microphone (without phantom power) and it worked perfectly afterwards.

für mich zu schlecht

Ich mag die Firma und einige ihrer günstigen Produkte, generell mag ich günstige Produkte, wenn sie brauchbar sind. Das hier ist mir leider einfach klanglich zu schlecht. Vorteil, wenig Rauschen - Die Mitbewerber mit 5212 im Namen rauschen wohl mehr. Nachteil, klingt generell auch dumpf, also was man dazu EQen muss, erhöhrt das Rauschen dann doch wieder. Mein Exemplar hatte zusätzlich ein leichtes Prasseln, was vermutlich so nicht sein sollte. Es war zwar leise, aber doch hörbar. Ich schicke es zurück.
Muss man wahrscheinlich einfach für sich ausprobieren, ob es den eigenen Ansprüchen genügt und man durch den sehr niedrigen Preis beseelt wird.

Mich stört nur, dass der XLR irgendwie ein bisschen locker im X32 Talk-Back steckt. Wackelt leicht.
