Just does the job

This has been sitting quietly in a small rack under my keyboard and PC screen for over 3 years, just doing its job without hassle. It’s permanently wired into my Behringer patchbay, so the sockets don’t get stressed. To be fair the other controls don’t get much attention either as they are set-and-forget. So for a budget price it combines stereo signals from my keyboards and expanders and I don’t notice it. That’s good.

Cómodo ma con bastante limites

Necesitaba un linemix para escucha de las varias fuentes que tengo en el estudio. Esto me resulta cómodo, y suena bastante bien.
Límites: el master presenta dos rotarios separados (L y R), sería mucho mejor un sólo control rotatorio para ambos canales, a lo mejor con otro control de balance entre los canales de salida.
La salida auxiliaria es monofonica e inútil. No costaba mucho crear una salida alternativa (out 3-4) en lugar que una salida para efectos que es muy raro se utilize en un line mix.
Falta un VUmeter per canal, o por lo menos un led de signal/overload.
La verdadera lástima es que sólo alcanza los 48 kHz de SR, pero esto es normal si se pretende utilizar 8 canales mediante ADAT sin SMUX. No costaría lo que costa si fuera hasta 96 o 192 kHz y toda la arquitectura tendría que ser diferente. Tengo uno en el estudio personal y otro en un laboratorio de electroacúsitca en conservatorio y nunca me han fallado en años.

Accurate and professional mixer (live use)

I bought the mixer for playing keyboards and have a performance monitoring locally. The independent aux/monitor output it's exactly what I was looking for. I mounted in a Thomas rack and it sound low noise, has an accurate dB meter, balanced input and output and a nice slim line. It looks like designed exactly for what I need on a live stage!
