A comparing review
I'm giving 5 stars because I have not heard higher end monitors above this price point in my life, so I can only compare B2031A with B2030A which I also own.
When putting both aside on a A/B comparison, the result is unbelievable!!
The B2030A sounds canned and strange!
I've not read on the internet this kind of differences between the two, but they are surely different, and B2031A sounds much much better, surely worth the difference in value.
I've tested the all 4 speaks on all, so if it a problem with my B2030A, it is the same with both...
Choose wisely!

Wonderful
After almost one year using these wonderful studio monitors, I am still as happy as when I received them. Solid, noiseless, elegant, you won't regret.
These must be the best balance between low price and excellent quality available in the market today.

impressive
Now I know what linear sound reproduction is.
In the past I did have 3 way towers with tube amp, and they sounded great. Current ones also sound great, but differently – they are not “colored” by tube amp and absolutely non-linear frequency response.
These are neutral and very precise. I thumb through my music collection and noticed how many details I did not hear before. Very impressive.
Listened through NI KA6 DAC at 24/96.
ps. I am not a sound engineer, but music/movies lover.
Bought a pair of this after "youtubing" reviews by real music producers.

Favorite.
Well... it's my second pair. I think it's a very good choice quality vs. price. I am carrying them around with my setup for my personal monitoring satisfaction. I love how they don't need a sub to deliver proper bass. I have one issue, thou... some radio signals are being captured by the amps and freak me out every now and then with a sudden 2 sec high volume noise blast.

This is a pleasant surprise
I bought this a couple of years ago due to budget constraint. 8 years on, they still work well! They may not be the best around, but considering the price, I got much better than I expected. From my experience, they are not best to use for monitoring during mixing. So I used them primarily for monitoring when recording tracks, and for playing back my mastered tracks.

I was so happy to hear the sound from 2031A
I didn't even think that the quality sound would come out of this kind of thing. In terms of price, which is its quality, in my opinion, my advice to all interested persons is that it is the best choice. I give to this item +++++ star

These are good monitors.
10 years ago when I bought my first pair there wasn't much competition at this price range. Since then several manufactures have made monitors in this segment and the B3031A Truths from Behringer themselves have added to the competition. In that regard the B2031A might seem outdated and therefor a bad buy. But they are not! I still have not heard anything go as loud as these in this price. My oldest pair have held up to my abuse for 10 years. They've even been used as a small PA several times and transported around. Not a single thing has ever failed me. I bought a pair to install in a 150 people room (together with a sub) and they just keep pumping. They are rarely even turned off! I mounted them from the ceiling. That is NOT something they where designed to do so it took quite a bit of work. But it was worth it!
I've used them as studio monitors as well and they work fine for that. I'm sure there are more precise monitors out there, but they do the job. Don't play them too loud though or you'll wear your ears out fast. They are really loud.
Good speakers, and I feel you get more than you pay for with these!
