Unbelievable Sound
Playplay 20.12.2021
I spent days comparing every guitar that Thomann has a demo recording of in order to find the best-sounding 12 stringed guitar. The Baton Rouge L1LS was the best-sounding one out of all of them.

For some reason, to me, the other 12 string guitars didn't sound as rich or as clean as this one.

When it arrived via UPS, I quickly got it in tune and strummed a chord.
It was an orgasmic experience.

Still, weeks after my purchase, it has the same effect on me and it's such a joy to own a guitar that sounds this good. For the price, It's unbelievable. No note sounds off, like on some of my other guitars. I keep coming back to this one because it just sounds so good.

The build quality is really nice, with only the tuners being ever so slightly unaligned. Also, it's not mic'd up. But the guitar sounds so good on its own, I don't even care.

You won't regret the purchase.

Brilliant VFM

What a brilliant guitar …. I am really pleased with this product, the matte finish is excellent the neck is a good size not too wide so great for those open chords. The set up is good i.e. action low enough so barring chords is easy. If you want a 12 string that is excellent VFM I would highly recommend this I mean for the price to sound is amazing!! get one !!

First Impressions

I've had the guitar for a few days and first of all it's a nice instrument, without luxury appointments or fancy decorations. By now it's a workhorse in training.

Sadly, it came with rusty strings so the sound is not the best by now (I'm waiting for coated D'Addarío's). The cardboard box was really thin so it's cool it came in good conditions. It also needs to be taken care of the intonation. Also, the bridge and nut were marked as NuBone, but there's nowhere to find the brand's logo or name so it could be a fake.

It's unfair to compare it to Mexican Martin, but for what it is, it's not bad. I'll update this information when I get it with new strings and pins.
