Smooth mellow sound

I try various Yamaha and Bach mouthpieces and I ended up in this one. It helps with the range both up and down. Well balanced mellow sound. Good old Chet style.

Ayant les lèvres charnues et une position d embouchure basse j ai longtemps jouer sur une bach 1 1/2 C pour compenser ma mauvaise position.
Après être brièvement passé sur une 3C j ai essayé quelques embouchures avec des cuvettes moins profondes et plus étroites pour faciliter les aiguës et à mon grand désarroi il y en a pas une qui a trouvé grâce à mes yeux.
Jusqu a ce que j aille un peu par hasard vers la Bach 6B et dès les premières notes les sensations étaient parfaites. La profondeur de cette embouchure, en plus de laisser la place suffisante aux lèvres imposantes de vibrer, offre un son rond particulièrement agréable, un réel confort, beaucoup de souplesse et adoucit (pour moi en tout cas) les attaques.
Je ne la quitte plus et la recommande à tous les trompettistes qui partagent mon défaut de jouer un peu sur les lèvres.
