Excellent free blowing mouthpiece
Dundeebrian 05.06.2025
I have been using an original 1G bass trombone mouthpiece for many years and have been happy with its performance in brass band.
Due to its age, the plating has all but gone so I needed to replace it.
Did my search and came across this 341 1G model from Thomann.
This one is even better and is proving to be such a free blowing mouthpiece in all registers especially so in lower registers when using both valves simultaneously.
Much less effort is required and the resultant sound is really impressive.
Very happy with my choice.

p
tiefes Bassposaunenmundstück
pastor_in_spe 01.06.2021

B
Bach 1G mouthpiece
Bassboneline 28.06.2022
The biggest for bass trombone, from the makers of Vincent Bach. The sound you'll be able te produce is classic American Bach-style. Meaning: dark, lots of core to the sound. Be aware of the fact that the thin rim might not be everybody's favorite.
