Schön gearbeitet aus edlem Holz. Der Hohlkörper schwingt beim Spielen mit. Mit spitzem Stachel verwendet zerkratzt das Holz schnell und sieht nicht mehr schön aus. Ich frage mich auch, wie lange das Holz an den Einkerbungen, wo es ja dünner ist, den Druck eines Kontrabasses mit spitzem Stachel wohl aushält, bevor es durchbricht. Ich verwende es also sicherheitshalber mit ausgestecktem Wolf SuperPin, was durch das größere Loch ganz vorne gut geht. Ich bemerke keine Klangeinbuße dadurch. Ein Nachteil ist, dass ich den Stachel blind auf das Brett setzen muss, weil der Korpus die Sicht versperrt. Das ist aber nicht die Schuld des Bretts. - Die Handhabung ist sonst sehr einfach, weil die Löcher am Ende des Bands groß genug sind für jedes Stuhlbein. Die Längenverstellung geht sehr einfach.

J'ai acheté cet accessoire pensant qu'il serait idéal pour bloquer la pique de ma contrebasse lorsque je joue assis. En réalité il est non seulement inefficace, mais gène plus qu'il ne sert. Les trous trop peu profonds ne permettent pas de bien bloquer la pique. Par ailleurs le fait qu'ils soient sur le haut d'une boite, en hauteur donc, compromet la stabilité. La boite se couche, la pique dérape. Je l'ai utilisé pour la première fois en concert en lieu et place de la planche artisanale utilisée dans de nombreux orchestres. En plein concert j'ai finalement dû reprendre une planche traditionnelle, bien plus sûr.
Par ailleurs le boite contrairement à l'apparence est du bois teinté. Et dès la première utilisation cette teinture est altérée.
Bref c'est un mauvais achat d'un très mauvais article.
