At last I have found an 8" studio ring

I have been searching for ages to find an 8" studio ring and was happy to find these at my favourite on line supplier. I have found the quality of these rings as good as the Evans ones, which I normally use, and they give a very similar amount of deadening to the overtones, sounding good without destroying the sound completely

This rings are efficient (and rare, because other brands apparently don´t make 8 inches ones).

Nevertheless, they tend to buzz a little (like the 10 inches too), what I partially solved by sticking a bit of gaffa tape.
