Ärgernis, aber alternativlos

Wer eine Softbox braucht, die platzsparend ist, kommt am Amaran F22 nicht vorbei. Im Datenblatt ist es eine perfekte Lösung.

Aber: Der winzige Ventilator ist super laut und er läuft auch, wenn das Licht auf 0%, also "aus" gedimmt ist und es kühl ist im Raum. Jedes Laptop kann das besser, es wäre mit firmware behebbar. Dann wurde bei den Steckern gespart: Am nervigsten ist, dass es einen Adapter braucht für DMX. Die DMX-Stecker sind alleine so schwer, dass sie den USB-C unzulässig belasten. Man muss sich also selber eine Zugentlastung basteln. Auch beim Strom vermisse ich einen PowerCon Ein- und Ausgang statt dem C14. Wackelt man am Stromkabel, Knirscht die ganze PA.

Fazit: Gäbe es eine Alternative, würde ich das F22 sofort zurückschicken, selbst wenn die Alternative deutlich teurer wäre.
