I bought this windscreen as a replacement for the original and discontinued round, hat style windscreen of a AKG 414 B-ULS microphone.

Quality disappointed me, price unreasonable high for what it is, a piece of soft mount that only virtue is to be cutted to fit the mic.
AKG is not being careful to details with this accesory to a very robust and versatile mic. Really sad to see this. Anyway it works but I do not expect to last long....soft foam.

Far too expensive!

29€ for a little bit of poor looking sponge is ridiculous. After stretching it a bit it fits C414 microphone. It works but I do not believe that it would stop a stronger wind.

und überrascht war ich , als ich das Päckchen öffnete...
Ich wollte eigentlich neue Windschutze für meine alten C 414 B-ULS ... die original mitgelieferten gibts ja leider nichtmehr ... sind aber wesentlich aufwendiger gefertigt ...
auf den ersten Blick sahen diese Dinger billig aus ... Sie sind dünn und auch noch in einem, zwar dunklen, aber schrecklichen Blau...
Der Schaum ansich scheint wenigstens von hoher Qualität zu sein, und darum gehts schliesslich ... für den Preis ist das aber eher ein Witz...
