Great Studio Headphones
I used the AKG K-240 for years for recording and mixing. I got the K-361 as an upgrade as well as I was in need of a second pair of headphones. Besides the much more sturdy construction, the K-361 is definitely an upgrade in terms of sound as well as handling.
Due to the oval shape of the phones, the headphones are very comfortable to wear during long hours of recording and mixing. The sound is very well defined and precise, the stereo spectrum is represented well. A big plus is the foldable construction which allows to transport the headphones effordlessly in the protective bag which comes with them.
I can see the K-361 becoming a new budget standard for studios and recording artists.

Great product and helpful sales and technical representatives
I am new to the world of recording and my recent purchases from the Thomann representatives has proved very professional without being overly technical with jargon. Thank you for your help and advice on the best products for me.

Hugs the lugs
Great headphones. Sound very flat in response if a little bright? Could be my ears though? Nice and light also extremely comfortable. The cables (2 of long and short) come with an insert and twist design to lock in, very clever! Come in branded pouch…no case. Can hear everything clearly and they are definitely not too tonal for mixing.
Recommended, especially at this price point. 👍

Great, lightweight headphones. Excellent for tracking.
Bought these for tracking. The diffuse field equalization is great. The soundstage is wide enough (although not as wide as in the DT-770s or AKG-240 DFs). The isolation is decent and the headphones feel comfortable.
The pivoting ear cups is a neat feature that allows a musician to rotate it if he wants to listen to what his colleagues have to say without taking the headphones off.
These are a little more sensitive to proper positioning on your head and take some getting used to.
A little creaky while handling.

Very high quality headphones
These headphones were among the best I have tried. I bought from Thomann also akg k 371. Akg k 371 was warm nice headphones but not clear as the akg k 361. I like this high presence I get to the vocal section. Either with my MacBook pro it sounds really good!
