Nachdem in verschiedenen Fachzeitschriften nur positive Bewertungen zu lesen waren habe ich mir diese Saiten bestellt.
Als Alternative zu den ansonsten favorisierten Elixir, man kann ja mal was neues probieren ...
Der erste Eindruck war wirklich gut, guter KLang und gutes Spielgefühl,mit den frisch aufgezogenenen Adamas schien meine Hummingbird sich leichter zu spielen und auch der Sound war irgendwie neu, irgendwie frischer... die Freude war leider nicht von langer Dauer...
Ich bin Hobbymusiker - kein Profi - und brauchte bislang nicht alle zwei Wochen neue Saiten aufziehen, aber bei den Adamas ist das anders. Schon nach zwei Wochen haben diese Saiten enorm viel von der anfänglich vorhandenen Spritzigkeit und Klangfülle verloren und wirken nach nur wenigen Spielstunden recht stumpf, auch das zuerst gute Spielgefühl hat sich leider schon verabschiedet. Leider halten diese Saiten nicht was man für den aufgerufenen Kaufpreis erwarten kann.

Habe nach einer Alternative zu Elixir Saiten gesucht. Hab die Adamas 1818NU aufgezogen und war gleich begeistert! Top Sound, gefällt mir insbesondere im Diskantbereich auf meiner Taylor 214ce besser. Sie klingen weicher.
Zudem lassen sie sich meiner Meinung nach besser spielen.
Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage machen.
